- Drs. Wally Chung and Madeleine Chung recognized 17 yrs ago that the Dept of Surgery lacked a department-wide research forum so they endowed a fund to support what we call the Chung Research Day.
The Chung Research Day has become the premier event of the academic calendar and is the one and only time each year the Dept of Surgery gathers as a whole to celebrate its research endeavors.
More information on the Drs. Chung contribution to academic life and the community can be found at: THE CHUNG COLLECTION
